A Stunning Marsala Wedding Inspiration Shoot from The Photography Stylistas

Good morning lovelies! Whilst many of you are in the midst of Spring, it is feeling increasingly Autumnal here in Hawkes Bay, and though it is often almost impossible to find wedding inspiration that works for brides in both hemispheres, today I have something that is perfect! In a stunning palette of Marsala (Pantone‘s colour of the year for 2015, and a shade that is going to be just as big for Autumn as it is Spring), copper and ivory, this inspiration shoot from the Photography Stylistas is sophisticated, romantic and oh so gorgeous……

A talented group of photographers from Chicago, IL; the Photography Stylistas believe collaboration is a wonderful way to create beauty together, and this Marsala wedding styled shoot really is something else! Abounding with lush florals in the richest hues, that contrast beautifully with the loft style venue and the rustic, farm dining table; it somehow manages to be intimate and elegant, charmingly rustic yet utterly romantic, all at once. With more than a hint of vintage grace and glamour, it was love at first sight for me, and I just know you will feel the same – so be sure to have your pinning finger at the ready.
But before I share every last detail with you, just a few words from the ladies behind the shoot, the Photography Stylistas “We started by bringing all of our elements and details to one of Chicago’s most up and coming venues, Brique, managed by the team behind Boutique Bites. With all of the natural light, brick and white walls it provided, we were able to use it as the most perfect backdrop. We started our inspiration with the color selections of cream, copper and marsala. From there came rich and full florals, a naked cake, copper pots, lace applique on the dress, a navy three-piece suite, custom-made pearl ring, and a farm table and chairs that everyone dreams of having in their home one day — every dreamed-up element simply came together on that cold, beautiful day……”

“We incorporated pieces of birch throughout the venue and dinner table, which paired perfectly with the gorgeous naked cake designed by Alliance Bakery. Laura Ahern of Accent on Events helped style our tablescape and dessert bar, which included marsala linen napkins, candles, rustic wooden chargers and a delicate cream runner – the perfect contrast to our farm table provided by Tablescapes rental. The shoot wouldn’t have come together without the stunning florals by Oliver Dogwood Co., providing the gorgeous, visual beauty that truly linked everything back to our original inspiration. Boutique Bites brought in that final extra detail, pulling the entire shoot together with their signature take on the famous pomegranate kir royale cocktail, a catered dinner in copper pots and a hot chocolate bar with copper mugs.”
